OKX crypto exchange announced the launch of Animecoin mining on the OKX Jumpstart platform. With the aim of offering access to investment in high-quality blockchain projects, OKX Jumpstart announced Animecoin as its next crypto project. Unlike other cryptocurrencies and memecoins, Animecoin was created as a token of gratitude for people who brought anime onto the chain.
According to the official announcement from OKX, the OKX Jumpstart platform allows users to start mining Animecoin (ANIME) from 06:00 UTC on January 20th to 06:00 UTC on January 23rd. Users can bet their U.N or BTC cryptocurrencies and start mining ANIME tokens. However, OKX users from Hong Kong and South Korea are restricted from mining ANIME tokens on OKX Jumpstart.
Qualified users can mine a total of 80,000,000 ANIME tokens through this program. While the total OKX reward pool is 53,333,334 ANIME, the BTC reward pool is 26,666,666 ANIME. Another notable mention is that there is no minimum limit for staking OKB and BTC cryptocurrencies. However, the maximum limits are 600 OKB for OKB deposit and 0.3 BTC for BTC deposit.
Animecoin launches on Ethereum and Arbitrum in January
Animecoin’s official account on X announced that its original ANIME token is launching on 23 January. The project’s Telegram account went live earlier today, offering rewards for early adopters and future allocation multipliers for Phase 1 registrants.
According to the previous announcement by Animecoin on January 13, the project made one detailed post about the project and its upcoming launch. It further mentioned that Animecoin will launch Ethereum and Arbitrum blockchains and about 50.5% of the token supply is allocated to the community.
