Uniswap’s 3-year-old Sec-combat transmitter-here is what comes next

• UNI has achieved regulatory clarity after Sec completed its investigation.

The new US Sec has officially completed its investigation toward Uniwap (UNI) Labs and does not plan further enforcement measures.

In April last year, the previous Sec served the company behind popular Uniswap Dex with a well announcement and claimed that it drives an unregistered security exchange and security (UNI token).

A win for defi?

For his part, Hayden Adams, founder of Uniswap Labs, regretted that the investigation wasted three years but was optimistic for Defi during the new leadership.

Similarly, Kristin Smith, CEO of Blockchain Association, a collective lobby for the industry, praised It as a profit for “All Crypto” and the end of regulation through enforcement.

“The ERA of the regulation through enforcement – and threats – will eventually come thanks to a new perspective on Sec.”

Uniswap is the third crypto company that has a previous trial dismissed by the new Sec, after Coinbase and Robinhood.

Uni reaction

Uni bounced 12% after the update, but was not back to the tight $ 9- $ 10 price range in early February. In addition, it was below the trend line resistance, which indicates that bears were still in control from this writing.
