Internet computer is number one ranked on devactivity list
In a new one post At X, the analytics company Santiment has shared how the best crypto courses in the sector have ranked in terms of developmental activity in recent months. The Development activity Measures, as the name implies, the amount of work that the developers of a digital asset project put into their public Github storage.
The indicator makes this measurement in terms of “events”, where an event occurs when the developer takes some action on the repository, such as pursuing a commitment, creating a problem or creating a request for traits.
The reason why the metric not only takes the number of commitments that the meter for development work is that many projects in the sector are forks (ie copies up to a certain point) of another project.
Gork’s inherits the commitments from the previous project, but these commitments do not of course represent the work performed by the new developer. The whole fork is counted as just an event in the analysis company’s methodology, with previous events that do not pass, so the indicator provides a “true” representation of the developer’s work.

As can be seen above, Internet computer has been the main coin in development activity in the past month, with the value of the meters of 557.7 right now. ChainLink (link) has taken the second place with a value of 370.8 and Starknet (STK) the third position with 260.6.
Even though it is larger in MarketingCardano has ended in fourth place with the indicator which sits at 238.63. Even more remarkable is Ethereum’s position. The coin is the second largest in the entire sector, but has finished last of the listed cryptocoirs, with a value of only 185.73.
What does development activity mean for an asset? A high value of the metric may suggest that the developers of the project are involved in it. Although it really is not the only factor to look at, it may be a sign that the project may be in the long term and is not just another moult.
Internet computer that is above the rest in the metric means that its developers are working hard to improve the network. While this can be a positive indication for the future, this work behind the scenes usually does not directly directly at the price, at least not immediately.
