Urges the government to develop a digital roadmap for the country

The Filipino Chamber of Commerce and the industry (PCCI), the country’s largest business organization, sets digital transformation Front and the Center for this year’s largest collection of business leaders-the 51st Filipino business conference and Expo (PBC & E), October 20-21 at the SMX Convention Center Manila occurs.

PCCI’s President Enunina V. Mangio said that this year’s theme, “The future is now: releases the power of digital transformation”, highlights the urgent need to embrace digital tools to remain competitive, improve efficiency and drive sustainable growth in a rapidly developing digital landscape.

“It is time to act boldly and strategically to utilize the full potential for digital technology and innovation. If we want to compete for investments and capital, our local companies must remain competitive on the global stage, and in order for our workers and young people to thrive in a developing technical landscape, we must embrace digital transformation,” stoned “emphasized.

By leading the conference, Converge ICT Solutions Inc. CEO and co-founder Dennis Anthony H. UY, who is also chairman of PCCI’s IT and Telco Committee. UY imagines a Philippines where every household, company and community are affiliated and authorized by technology.

“Digital transformation is the key to unlocking our country’s full potential and ensuring that no one is left in this rapidly developing digital world,” UY said.

Mangio emphasized the need for a clear, uniform digital roadmap to accelerate progress and urged stronger cooperation between the government and the private sector to adapt efforts and quickly trace the roll -out of digital infrastructure.

In the reason for the conference, PCCI and Converge, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), have launched a nationwide series Hackathons in North Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and NCR. The goal: Develop practical technical solutions to help MMEs manage real business challenges.

More than 2,000 delegates are expected to join this year’s conference and explore the “future” through a technical expo with groundbreaking solutions-from AI-driven automation to smart infrastructure designed to help companies work smarter and grow faster.

UY shared that local and international technology companies will be at hand to showcase new technologies and highlight how digital transformation can drive growth across all sectors.

“This conference is more than just a discussion – it is a starting plate for ideas, partnerships and innovations that can bring every Philippine business to the digital age,” said UY.

Now in its 51st year, the Filipino Business Conference & Expo will continue to serve as PCCI’s flagship events, and brings together decision makers, industry experts, business leaders and entrepreneurs for meaningful dialogue, collaboration and network opportunities.
