President Donald Trump will host the first Crypto summit in the White House on March 7, gathering industry leaders, CEO, investors and members of the President’s Digital Assets Working Group, David Sacks, White House AI & Crypto Czar, shared in a statement on X on Friday.

The announcement comes after Trump signed an executive order To form an internal working group aimed at making America the global leader in crypto. The chairman of sacks will explore the creation and regulation of a national crypto warehouse and a stablecoin regulation.
The directive also overturns a former executive order of former President Joe Biden who tried to set up a crypto rule and prohibits the development of an American central bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
In today’s press release, the White House described plans to draw up a clear regulatory framework for the crypto sector while supporting innovation and promotion of economic freedom.
The administration also criticized its predecessor for “unfairly charged” the digital asset industry.
